Hello, As an ex (now retired) sound engineer, I very much appreciate using your "Windows VU Meter".. however, I have been trying to replace the "App icon" (Empty white rectangle with blue header bar) without any success. I've done this for many programmes and apps over the years but this time I just can't find where your file is!! I've Googled to my best, but can't find a solution, hence me contacting you directly. Thanking you in advance.
Is there a way to capture the meter reading? I want to build a script that will automatically lower the volume if the VU Meter achieves a certain level.

No. Unfortunately, this application is just a gadget for Windows. There is no way to use its recorder data to create a script.
